2011 Youth Conference :: June 24-26
At this year’s conference we are looking forward to hearing from Pastor Jonathan Christman from Owensbro, KY.
Pastor Jonathan is passionate about India and has been there several times helping to equip pastors in serving CHRIST
more faithfully. He also works with many Indian families who now live in Kentucky. His theme “EXPOSING IDOLS” will be a
useful and timely challenge to us all. While millions in India worship at shrines dedicated to idols which represent the countless Hindu dieties, the young people of American are tempted and even intimidated to worship our national idols. The gods of money, popularity, love, relationships and cool gadgets, to name but a few, draw many in and then do their soul destroying work. How can we identify the subtle inclinations of our hearts towards this idolatry? Pastor Jonathan’s messages will be a TREMENDOUS help in exposing these idols!

California Baptist University campus dormitories for guys and girls (separate).

Great teaching, meeting new friends, seeing old ones, team activities, games,
talent show and great singing.

The conference fee includes all meals (Friday dinner to Sunday dinner),
conference materials, team shirt, and housing.

Dress Code
Please dress modestly. No midriff showing, spaghetti straps, short shorts. Boys
must wear shirts at all times. There are outdoor games and church services so
dress accordingly.

Electronics
Please do not use CD/walkmans, ipods, mp3 players, handheld video games, cell
phones, etc during the conference.

Safety
Please no camping knives or equipment that could cause injury, remember...this
is not a campout.

Please Bring:
Sports clothing and shoes (must be worn during all team activities), sleeping
bags, pillows, instruments, talent show stuff, Bible, toiletries (shower
towels), Sunday clothes and good attitudes.

Talent Show
We have a talent show each year. If you are going to be in the talent show
please plan it in advance. You can have a film (on DVD), song, dance, standup
comedy, skit. Anything that takes real talent and is interesting.

Travel Info
California Baptist University is a 15 minute drive from the Reformed Baptist
Church of Riverside and is 30 minutes from Ontario International Airport.
If you are traveling from Northern California or out of state and need housing
Sunday night, note there is an extra $25 fee. For those flying please book your
flights to arrive into Ontario International Airport (ONT) in Ontario,
California arriving between noon and 2pm Friday June 24 and departing in the
morning on Monday June 27. We only provide pickup and drop off to Ontario
International Airport.
Conference Schedule
Registration will begin at 2pm on Friday. Please pay close attention to the
schedule and be ready to participate in all the scheduled activities. To ensure
that everyone is well rested there is a lights out policy at 11pm.
